Darlene R. Peters was born on June 30th, 1970, daughter of Donna and Daniel Peters. She was raised in Norwood, Massachusetts. As a child she attended Balch Elementary School, and she graduated from Norwood High School in 1988. Following her secondary education, Darlene went onto study Psychology, and Criminal Justice at Cape Cod Community College in Cape Cod, MA, and Colorado Technical University in Colorado Springs, CO through a distance-learning program. She would always be searching to explain the unexplainable and understand the undefined, as she employed the constant desire to learn and educate herself in a wide variety of topics. While the majority of her life was lived in Massachusetts, she found a place to call home in Wisconsin in 1998.

From an early age, Darlene, was never afraid to stand up for what she believed in. This quality made her a leader in her career, as well as within her family and the communities in which she lived. She was never afraid of a challenge and would often go against the grain of the system by rising time and time again to excellence in her military career. She believed in herself, and had an unbreakable spirit that allowed her to never become hindered from chasing her dreams.

Darlene would always be seeking to be one with nature. She spent as much time as she could close to the water and the other wonders of God’s creation. She was never concerned with being in fashion, preferring classic music, cars and an approach to life over more modern and acceptable alternatives. While she always searched to be loved, she would never sacrifice herself in order to fit in so that others were happy at her expense. She was able to find beauty in things that others would see as creepy or out of place. She was never afraid to take a chance to experience life on the edge. Darlene always felt that a life unexplored was a life unlived and sought to have as many new and challenging experiences as she possibly could.

She excelled in her career in the National Army Guard where many women were left behind in a male dominated profession. She later used her military knowledge to successfully enter the private sector as a top corporate security officer.

Despite the fact that life handed her the medical challenge of cancer, she never for a single day lost hope that her body would be restored to health so she could enjoy witnessing the continued growth and success of her four loving Children. Caitlin, Chris, Codie-Lee, and Dakota, were not just Darlene’s children, but they were also her best friends that filled her energy, heart, mind, and soul. Darlene thirsted for knowledge and passed the love for learning onto each of them. She would rather find ways to express herself through music, art, writing, and poetry than waste a lazy weekend night in front of the television. As a parent, she sought to help her children to not make the same mistakes she did. Everyday was another opportunity for Darlene to attend and learn from the school of life. The most important lesson that she hoped her kids would learn was to be accepting of any and all people just as they are.

In the Internet community she was a visionary in her role as the Station Manager for the Tunes Radio Network. Her belief was that everyone has the right to have a voice which lead her to spend countless hours maintaining, marketing and promoting the network. She also hosted several Internet radio shows as a psychic advisor. Her psychic advising and life coaching services on a higher scale could be found on Keen.com and Kasamba.com. The matters concerning spirituality always challenged her in heart mind and soul. Through the practices of meditation, clairvoyance, and life coaching she inspired others to live as close to 100% as they could. Her one true addiction in life was turning her ambitions and passions into reality. She got to see her children become the embodiment of her dreams.

As Darlene’s body became weak she refused to allow that to impact her relationships with family and friends. She did everything in her personal power to be the best friend and mother that she could. Darlene was slow to anger, but quick to protect. She had a small network of devoted friends who were each individually touched by her presence in their lives. While her body may be gone the spirit of influence she had on everyone she touched, will never be forgotten.
